Music plays an integral role in the studio—helping us get into creative grooves each and every day. Here’s what’s been on rotation lately.
NAME
Studio Kaki is named after the Japanese & French word for persimmon—a fruit that represents prosperity and transformation.
TEAM
The studio is headed by Elisa Michelet (エリサ ミシュレ) a Californian-French designer with 9 years of experience working both agency-side and independently. She has a BA in Design Media Arts from UCLA and speaks English & French fluently and is currently learning Japanese.
She mostly works solo, but depending on the needs and scale of the project, she partners with strategists, designers, illustrators, copywriters, photographers, and web developers.
